Below is the Assessment criteria and Assessment Rubrics used to assess and evaluate you and your groups success in each of the activities within this WebQuest. You are to look at the criteria and rubrics carefully and complete your activities demonstrating the skills listed in both.

Assessment Criteria
- *A well-designed poster that clearly demonstrates students knowledge of the 1850s, the Gold Rush and their relevant topic group
*Poster addresses all key question areas
*Obvious and logical connections between prior knowledge, research, class work and group discussions
*Clearly communicated information that shows both group collaboration and independent work
*Relevant and appropriate images, pictures and colour scheme
Poster Rubric

Content - Accuracy | All facts in the poster are accurate. It uses all relevant information learned from research and the WebQuest. | It uses 75% of the relevant information learned from research and the WebQuest. Graphics/Pictures | Graphics suit the topic and are presented well with the text.
